Melodies at Dusk

On a lake somewhere west of here lies a little cabin nestled in the trees.

Over the still water loons glide across the surface, their haunting call filling the night silence.

This painting is inspired by the feeling I have when I lay in bed in the cabin, the window open to let the mixture of cool air and loon melodies in to fill my dreams.
