Living Jewels

Sparkling eyes, flashing wings, shining feathers.

The hummingbird hovers over the glowing valley, a living gem swooping through the sunrise soaked flowers.

The inspiration for this artwork was drawn from watching hummingbirds from the deck at a small mountain cabin, trying to catch sight of their bright feathers as they rush by in the blink of an eye.
